The 2022 childminder Development Grant is now open for applications with a closing date of 15th July. Please see below for links to the application form and guidelines to complete same.

New applications for ECCE Higher Capitation 2021/22 Programme Call will be closed for submission, effective from 24/06/2022.

Childminder Development Grant
The 2022 Childminder Development Grant (CMDG) opened for applications on Friday 10th June 2022 with applications closing on 15th July 2022.
This year the CMDG will be administered centrally by Cavan County Childcare Committee (cmdg@cavanccc.ie).

ECCE Higher Capitation 2021/22 Programme Call
New applications for ECCE Higher Capitation 2021/22 Programme Call will be closed for submission from 24/06/2022 in line with the ECCE Programme Year. No new applications submitted after this date will be processed. For any applications in status Referred Back submitted prior to 24/06/2022 with outstanding queries or issues, there will be a further 2-week period granted for final submission, closing on Friday, 08/07/2022.
These queries and issues would have been highlighted directly to Service Providers on the Higher Capitation form, specifying the outstanding issues and guidance on how to resolve.
Please be aware that after this date, submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Programme Support Payments (PSP) Reminder
PSP applications opened on the Early Years Hive under the Programme tab on 3rd June until 24th June 2022 @ 5pm. Late applications for PSP will not be accepted
Tusla Re- Registration for Pre- School and School Aged renewal.
The Tusla re-registration is a much more straightforward process this time around. Documents required for the submission are Garda/Police vetting and insurance documentation. All services required to renew their registration for 2022 received correspondence from Tusla on the 2/06/2022.
Tusla are requesting sessional and part time providers to complete the re-registration before the summer break if possible.
Programme Readiness
All services will need to complete the programme readiness on the Hive in preparation for the programme year 2022/23 for ECCE, NCS and CCSP.

Child Safeguarding/DLP Poster
Please see attached a poster that can be populated and displayed in your service. It clearly identifies the DLP and the deputy DLP for all service users and staff.
Barnardo’s Free Resources
This is just a reminder that Barnardo’s has hard copies available of many of the eBooks for EY and SAC professionals and for parents on our online shop (see https://shop.barnardos.ie/collections/free-ebooks) that they can send to you free of charge for services in your area, for conference packs etc.

They also have a wide range of other online supports including resources for childminders, supports for services welcoming children from Ukraine and relationships in SAC.
