Dear Colleagues,

These are the deadlines, important dates, and announcements for the week 23rd – 27th May 2022.

DEADLINES/IMPORTANT DATES:

27th May 2022

Programme readiness process opens for ECCE, NCS and CCSP 2022/2023 on the Hive (see below)

31st October 2022

All services due for renewal must have completed their Tusla Re-Registration (see below)

FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

Tusla Re-Registration

For services who last re-registered with Tusla in 2019 (which is the majority of services) it is time to re-register again, as registration operates on a 3-year cycle.

The process to re-register this time is going to be a lot easier, as you do not need to supply all the same information again. You will complete the re-registration on the Tusla portal, and you will have to upload the following:

>Current insurance certificate for the service

>Garda vetting disclosure (dated within 3 years) for the following persons:

• registered provider,

• person in charge if different,

• company directors or board members who have access to children in the service,

• the second person, where a school age service is operated single-handedly or a school age childminding service,

• persons over the age of 18 who are present in the house where a school age childminding service is operating

 >Signed Statutory Declaration form(s) for the service(s) you wish to re-register.

 >And you will need to pay the relevant fee.

Tusla are asking all relevant sessional services to complete the re-registration process before the summer holidays. All other relevant services must have completed the re-registration by the 31st October 2022, however we are urging providers not to wait that long. It is a straightforward process, so we do advise you to re-register as soon as possible.

All associated documentation is attached and is available on the Tusla portal and Tusla website. There is also a recorded webinar, and a presentation slide, for ELC and SAC Registration Renewal available on the Tusla website which is accessible Here
