The deadline for applying for the Interim Funding and Core Funding has been extended to Friday 9th September 2022.

Core Funding-Advance Interim Funding
The DCEDIY have advised Providers can accept the funding agreements any time up to close of business on Friday 9th September and still receive backdated funding in respect of the 1st of September onwards. Please note that if the status of your application is submitted you will need to accept the Core Funding and Interim Funding Partner Service funding agreements in order to begin to receive funding. Accepting the funding agreements will change your application status to ‘Contracted’.
Providers can accept the funding agreements after 9th of September and receive payment from that point onwards but please note that payments for funding agreements accepted after 9th September will not be backdated.

The DCECIY have published the AIM Rules 2022/2023 on the AIM website. The link is as follows:
Building Blocks
Roderic O’ Gorman, T.D., Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, has announced a €10m Capital Grant for the Early Learning and Childcare Sector. The Building Blocks – Improvement Grant is part of a wider Building Blocks Capital Programme for Early Learning and Childcare under the National Development Plan. Grants will range from €35,000 to €75,000 across two separate strands: Green Energy and Retrofit. The full press release is attached for your information.
