Tusla – Quality and Regulatory Framework (QRF) eLearning programme

The primary aims of the programme are to support early years professionals to meet the requirements of the regulations and to have a greater understanding of what quality early years provision and experiences look like in practice for all children accessing early years services.

The programme can be used as a resource by other professionals in the early years sector, such as quality mentors, support workers, tutors, lecturers students and parents

The programme identifies what quality early years provision looks like in practice and as such may also be of interest to parents and guardians.

There are six modules;

• Module 1: Introduction

• Module 2: Governance

• Module 3: Health Welfare and Development of the Child

• Module 4: Safety

• Module 5: Premises and Facilities

• Module 6: Conclusion

A certificate is issued on completion of the core modules which can be used as evidence of the participant’s commitment to provide quality early years provision and experiences for young children.
