Supports for healthcare workers in accessing early learning and care and school-age childcare places

As the local agent of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.  Westmeath CCCs are available to provide support and guidance to both early learning and care and school age childcare services, and to parents.

 

 

The Department is conscious that during this challenging period healthcare workers and their families may have additional, unanticipated childcare needs, particularly as a result of the temporary school closures. In this regard, the CCCs are available to assist parents in finding suitable childcare in their local area on the basis of current available capacity, and to provide information in relation to the funding programmes available.

 

 

Families may be eligible for financial support under the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) which provides subsidies to help parents meet the cost of quality early learning and care and school age childcare.  Westmeath CCC is available to discuss this with you on 0449335454 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
