In order to receive the universal childcare subsidy, the parent must provide both the child’s and the parent’s names as registered with DSP, PPS numbers and dates of birth when registering the child. The documentation containing the PPSN information must be destroyed by the childcare provider once no longer required. 

 

No documentation needs to be included when registering children for CCS Universal on PIP.

 

If the PPSN fails to validate for either parent or child, the registration will not submit. The provider must then:

·         Add a Registration Request

·         Select PPSN validation from the drop down menu

·         Attach acceptable documents to evidence the parent/child name, DOB and/or PPSN

·         Enter a comment

·         Submit
