CCS/Plus and TEC fees lists and calendars

ECCE calendars and Good Friday

It was noted that Good Friday had been automatically selected as a closed day, which for many of you is not the case. Pobal have adjusted this, unfortunately if you have already submitted your calendar and now wish to change your Good Friday you need to submit your calendar again. Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and they will take down your current calendar and put up a new one for you. A notice to this effect is on PIP.

CCS Resettlement/Relocation/Transition

These programmes are very important for the provision of childcare to some of our most vulnerable families – those families experiencing homelessness and those arriving from refugee camps. The transition programme has been extended to cover primary school aged children during the school holidays. Sessional services can now offer the transition scheme. The CCSR programmes have been aligned and offer a total of 60 weeks childcare for families. These changes will take place from June 28th however the process of applying will take a little longer to confirm. However, the payments for all places under these programmes can be back dated to June 28th. If you don’t currently offer these programmes and you would like to, please contact your development worker. A notice about these changes is on PIP.

The new September programme measures

We hope that you now have enough information to work with the programmes in September. If parents are coming to you for information don’t forget you can point them in the direction of the website www.affordablechildcare.ie which has really clear explanations of what is available for families. It is also a good resource for you too.

If, however, you are still unsure about the new measures and the changes coming in September, don’t hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to talk everything through with you and help you to apply the measures in your service.
