POBAL Compliance Visits 2017-2018
All POBAL compliance visits for the 2017-2018 programme year will be unannounced.
There are a number of things that the POBAL Visit Officer (VO) will verify during each compliance visit
ECCE Scheme
- the actual number of DCYA approved ECCE places in the service correspond with the number of places enrolled and the actual attendance on the day of the visit
- the ECCE Fees Policy approved by WCCC is displayed for parents
- the charges outlined on the ECCE Fees Policy approved by WCCC are being implemented
- signed copies of the approved Fees Policy are on file for each ECCE parent
- parents are in receipt of the appropriate capitation
- records are available of payments made by parents availing of optional extras etc.
- qualifications of staff working with the ECCE children correspond to those on file with the DCYA
CCS Scheme
- the actual number of DCYA approved CCS FTE places in the service correspond with the number of places enrolled and the actual attendance on the day of the visit
- the CCS Fees Policy approved by WCCC is displayed for parents
- the charges outlined on the CCS Fees Policy approved by WCCC are being implemented
- signed copies of the approved Fees Policy are on file for each CCS parent
- parents are in receipt of the appropriate capitation
- records are available of any child leaving the programme and any subsequent replacements.
CETS Scheme
- the actual number of DCYA approved CETS places in the service correspond with the number of places enrolled and the actual attendance on the day of the visit
- the CETS Fees Policy approved by WCCC is displayed for parents
- the charges outlined on the CETS Fees Policy approved by WCCC are being implemented
- the appropriate FAS or VEC eligiblity letters are on-file for each CETS parent
- signed copies of the approved Fees Policy are on file for each CETS parent
- parents are in receipt of the appropriate capitation
- Weekly sign-in sheets are on-file for each CETS parent
